I have gained invaluable experiences working in Speech and Language Therapy centres in the UK, Hong Kong, Singapore and India. Currently I work for the NHS which allows me to remain up to date with recent research and evidence based practice. Previous to my NHS position I worked at Ruth Jacob’s, a leading private Speech and Language therapy centre in London. I have worked with a number of nurseries and schools in London, liaising closely with teachers and teaching assistants. I am a member of the board of governors for a nursery in Chelsea.
My specialist area is the Early Years and I have a particular interest in early language and speech sound development. I have had specialist training in Developmental Verbal Dyspraxia (DVD) and Developmental Language Disorder (DLD).
I am a passionate reader and lover of children’s literature and am currently writing my own children’s book. I draw on knowledge from my Psychology degree and Postgraduate masters in Speech and Language Therapy to guide my practice and always use a child centred approach when working with families and teaching staff, providing additional advice and support where necessary.
